So, I'm a senior in high school. I'm currently taking Honors Chemisty as my 5th science. I only need 3 but I like it so I keep taking them. I just registered to this forum today and figured I'd take a peak at the highschool questions postings. I was blown away because I didn't know anything that any of them were saying. They were all confusing and stuff I've never even heard of. Why doesn't my highschool teach this stuff? Anyway, I want to learn as much as possible even if they don't teach it at my school. All we learn is the basics... even though it's honors. So, does anybody know of any good Chemisty books that are fairly cheap that I can learn some stuff in? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

By the way, AP chemistry or AP biology isn't offered at my school. I wish it was though because it would sure help with colleges and stuff
