PAMAM-FITC conjugation
« on: September 25, 2013, 02:46:09 PM »
Hello All,

At this moment I am trying to synthesize a conjugate between PAMAM and FITC. According to many papers, they are capable to calculate the conjugation efficiency  by 1H NMR (for example, in the papers they report that the conjugation was 10 FITC molecules per dendrimer).

As a result, I would like to get some insights about this. How can I determine the conjugation degree by 1H NMR? I know that the integration of the 1H peak associated with the conjugation can help me to know if the reaction was sucessful. But how can I determine the ratio between the dendrimer and the FITC by this way?

Thanks,
