Grain Size Increase

Hello,
I was wondering, does the grain size increase with temperature because the surface energy of the grains increases with temperature, and to try and reduce the energy, the grains respond by growing to reduce surface energy?

Is that about alloys? Then:
Small grains are metastable. Heat allows the natural growth to proceed. It's strictly a dynamical question, so equilibrium thoughts won't bring the answer.

Yes, but why does the heat increase the grain growth?

Heat hastens rearrangements - and changes in general.
