Simple question about butane molecule.

Hello!
I would like to know if i, through a chemical reaction, remove all the hydrogen of a butane, the atoms of carbon would automaticaly make a double bond each other or they would keep making a single bond like before.

The carbon chain will not be stable, more chains react each other and form carbon structure
