Question here, I am in grade 11 and I need to ask is it possible to split the oxygen from oxides like say; Titanium Dioxide or Iron(II) oxide and lastly Aluminum Oxide. I have been doing some research as well and is it possible to melt these oxides back down to their metal parents when the splitting of oxygen is finished?

Since aluminum oxide and iron oxide are mined to get aluminum and iron (steel as well) for processing there must be a method to remove the oxygen.

Alright thank you for the little hint a couple Google searches and I think I am on the right path again.
