How determine if is ionic bonding or covalent?
« on: December 10, 2013, 06:57:29 AM »
Hi!

Considering the bond between two atoms A and B. How can i determine if this bond is ionic or covalent? As far as i remember, there is a number, above this number, is a ionic bond, or below, i don't remember. I believe it is binding energy between atoms, but i don't remember how calculate this.
Could you guys help me to do it?
