Could someone explain to me what some of the various suffixes of chemicals are? What is an amine especially.

Right now I am taking first year Chemistry CP. We just got to some organic chemistry stuff but I don't think we are going to be covering amines. I've been reading quite a bit about synthesis and amines are mentioned quite a bit and I'd like to know more about these.
