Hello
Im trying to wrap my head around calculating leaching stages for "upsteam" extracrion using a triangular diagram. Now i hit a wall bacus the leadnotes from my teatcher i have just does not fit with what i understand about the method.
Here it is: To calculate the operation line for the under flow im given a speciffic relation between leatchingslurry going in to eny stage and stuff exiting the same stage. Lets name inert material B, my product A and solvent S. Now my teatcher writes "the sulution in relation to inert is X" and in the lead notes he writes (S/B)=X , but in my world it should be ((S+A)/B)=X!? Now i understand that it can look different with etche case, but if i cant get my head around why he wries like this i wont be abel to get the right operation line when solvning eny other similar problem. If a leaching stage relation is jutst S/B, there is no leaching going on right? A has to be moved from under flow to top flow.
If this is an obvius typoe in the notes i would very mutch apritiate eny answer to that to!
Sorry for the strange english and typoes, im stressed and i have also directly translated and guessed the engineeringtems for this in english from swedish.
Thx alot for eny help:)
