Really need help
« on: January 15, 2014, 09:15:01 AM »
Hey everyone!
I really need help with something, and I wasn't quite sure where to post this question. Hope you understand what I mean, and I hope that someone can help.

Is there a substance that can dim lights? A substance that can be mixed with something and made into a film for attaching to glass?  ???

There are lots of photosensitive molecules around. I suggest you look in google for the spectacle lenses called "transitions" ( I think that is the name) there you may be able to find out exactly what the compound used is called.
I have these lenses in my glasses and they are great.

@discodermolide

The jargon word you're looking for is photochromism.
