Magnesium and Acid Mechanism

Does anyone know the mechanism for the reaction between:

1) Magnesium and Hydrochloric Acid
2) Magnesium and Ethanoic Acid
3) Magnesium and Hydrochloric Acid with Copper Sulphate as a catalyst

I have tried looking on the internet but have not been able to find anything.

I have now read the forum rules - apologies.

I have attempted to research for the answer myself but the answers on the internet are really not clear as to what the mechanisms for the reactions above should be.

That's the mechanism? I was thinking about a diagram involving dipoles, bonds breaking etc. rather than simply a single displacement reaction. Or have I over-complicated it?

Bingo.

Such mechanisms are discussed in organic chemistry, but in inorganic they usually don't matter. Reactions are too simple and too fast.
