Some compounds will decarboxylate more readily than others. Can you let us know what else there is in your molecule?

See for instance http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Decarboxylation&oldid=594469431 (or the German equivalent at http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Decarboxylierung&oldid=126567309 )

Kolbe, Hunsdieker (nasty), Barton-McCombie, Kochi is all I know of.  None are easy, nor fun.  Yields suffer greatly unless you have a very advanced mantle which will keep a super exact temperature.  Otherwise, hydrocarbon cracking.
