Quantitative measure of starch
« on: March 13, 2014, 08:42:56 PM »
Ok I was going to do a science fair project on starch concentation in potatos based on how long I cook them and to do this I must be able to measure the amount of starch, as opposed to simply the presence of it.

To achieve the standard I have to measure the starch concetration using a titration, I have tried to search around to find a way to do this but I haven't yet found a way that isn't too complicated.
Would any of you guys be able to help me?

Also I would prefer if I didn't have to use colourimetry.
