Which name is more suitable for A-Level courses

NaOCl [ sodium hypochlorite / sodium chlorate(I) ]
Which name is more suitable for A-Level courses

There is no such thing as a "name suitable for A-Level course". There are correct names (following IUPAC rules) and there are incorrect names.

That being said, use the names that your teacher requires.
