Large Kimax Cylinder
« on: June 12, 2014, 04:16:52 AM »
I have a Kimax Cylinder it is about 12" tall 4" in diameter has a 7" base. It is made of thick glass, it has no spout or graduation marks. I would like to know what it is called, what it is used for and how much it is worth. I have looked everywhere I know to look on the internet and have not found one. Thank You for any help you can give me.

I sometimes use larger versions of such cylinders for dialysis of proteins against buffers.  I don't know whether or not it has a special name (I would refer to it just as a cylinder, as opposed to a graduated cylinder).
