Solubility question
« on: June 11, 2014, 05:31:56 PM »
Hi all,

I was wondering about the solubility properties of some metal catalysts such as such as cobalt (or nickel, or iron, etc.)... so things like cobalt(II)acetate, cobalt(II)acetylacetonate, and cobalt(II)chloride, etc. Which varieties might be soluble in tert-butyl alcohol or cyclohexane? How do I go about figuring this out without actually trying it out?

Thanks!
