Hello,

So I have a unit test tommorrow and I am having issues with the math. A question I have is :

Ca(CH3COO)2 When analyzed a 250 ml solution of calcium acetate was found to contain .200mo of acetate ions. A) find molar concentration of the calcium acetate solution B) what mass of calcium acetate was dissolved to make solution ?

What is your own attempt. Let say calcium acetate dissociate 100%. You know alreade 0,2 mol/l acetate.
Write equation and see how correspond each other.

Write the balanced equation of dissociation of calcium acetate and check carefully how many moles of Calcium ions are formed and acetate ions are formed on dissociation of one mole of calcium acetate?
