Method to Slow Down Oxidation of Fe(II)
« on: July 01, 2014, 03:25:35 AM »
Hi, I have a question.

What are the methods to slow down oxidation of Fe(II) ions in air to Fe(III) ions?

Thank You.

Protect the iron by coverage with a more noble metal, like nickel, chromium or others. Keep Environment dry not wet.

How do I then slow down the oxidation of aqueous Fe(II) ions?
