Percents,Molarity, and Normality
« on: March 26, 2006, 07:39:47 PM »
Hello, I have a problem involving percents,molarity, and normality.
This is the problem:
Molarity of acetic acid=normality/mol of acetic acid*percent acetic acid=
Molarity of acetic acid=normality/mol of acetic acid*93.75%=
This is the reaction for acetic acid:CH3COOH + NaOH ---> NaOOCCH3 + H2O
I don't have the normality for acetic acid and I don't know how to get it all I know
is that acetic acid 1 equivalent. Help will be greatly appreciated.

Please elaborate, you haven't posted any question here, just some unrelated information.
