Hello,
I am stuck on a question concerning the titration of lysine. The question is the following: If the titration of lysine is done by adding OH- to a solution that has 2 moles of lysine, how many moles of NaOH would have to be added to get to 2.5 equivalent?
The answer is 5 moles, but I do not see how to get there. Wouldn't two moles of lysine have 6 equivalents in total? How would you go about using that information to get to the answer?
I thank in advance for the help
