Brightwell Dispensers, a global designer and manufacturer of chemical dilution, soap and paper dispensers and dosing equipment, are looking to recruit an outstanding Quality Assurance Manager for their HQ in Newhaven, Sussex. As the Quality Assurance Manager you will take responsibility for driving and maintaining only the highest standards of Quality Assurance across the business and ensuring that the ethos of "Quality being the brand" is not only maintained, but continually improved upon. You will take responsibility for the various quality management systems and processes ensuring the highest standards of quality in both products and service. Other key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to...
• To promote and maintain a quality culture throughout the group.
• To manage and maintain for each company within the Group their registration to ISO9001
• To oversee SPC in our manufacturing and service departments and ensure this data is being reviewed regularly.
• To oversee the resolution of customer complaints/returned goods (RMA)
• Visit customers and suppliers as required.
• To manage an audit program fulfilling the requirements of ISO9001 and adding real value to the company.
• In conjunction with the Business Analyst, oversee key KPI data and ensure that any targets not being meet are being addressed with the key department managers
• Manage all rejected stock and product across the group (RTV) and address any large or on-going issues with our production managers or suppliers as required. Ensure any such goods are quarantined and disposed of safely as required on a regular basis.
• Lead the QA team to develop their skills, identify talent and effectively delegate tasks to assist aid development

To be considered for this exciting opportunity with one of the industries most innovative and forward thinking businesses, you will have a proven track record of not just Quality Assurance Management, but the development of a Quality and Continuous Improvement culture that effects all parts of an organisation. You will be an integral part of the business management team and will be expected to be a key driver behind the continued growth of the Brightwell Dispensers' business.
Key selection criteria will include, but not be limited to the following...
• Formal qualification within an engineering or quality discipline or qualification by experience.
• It would be preferable that you have achieved Chartered status or be a member of a body such as MIQA.
• Proven track record of the implementation and improvement to ISO systems such as 9001:2008, 14001, 18001.
• It would be preferable that you have a working knowledge of the manufacture of plastic components, printed circuit boards or electrical products as well as knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Supplier Evaluation systems.
