Hello! I am planning a laboratory practice of diesel extraction with GC-FID analysis for students. However, I can't use the common solvents such as acetone or hexane because there a few fume cupboards. Do you know any "safe" nonpolar solvents that I can use for this purpose without requiring a fume cupboard? or do you by chance know a protocol adapted for students?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Diego.
