Hi.
I would like to ask some help solving a problem.
2-bromobutane reacts with potassium ethoxide in ethanol at 70 degrees C. Three products are made with a 1:1:3 ratio. Name the products and show the mechanism.
I need to solve this problem in two ways (2 are possible). I found one solution with Sn2 and E2 mechanisms (ether:1-butene:2-butene). Any ideas on the second solution?
