Dear fellow chemists,
I've stumbled upon a (maybe simple) problem which is the venting of CO2 from a aqueous solution.
To sketch a simple picture of the problem I will describe the circumstances:
A basic reaction within a sealed package produces foam and 11 grams of CO2 gas.
This needs to be vented without the solution escaping the package.
I've used a membrane but because of foaming inside the package the membrane is sealed off and no longer functions.
I am in desperate need of a solution!
I hope someone can help
