Hi, I’m trying to measure the zeta Potential of water in oil (heavy oil) emulsions.
We have a HORIBA DT 1200 electroacoustic for the measures of size and Zeta potential
but I really don’t understand why the zeta potential are so big (~10000-1000000 mV)
I appreciated if you know if I could measure these kinds of sample.
I’m trying to read the literature but I don’t understand please help me¡¡¡¡
The properties of the heavy crude oil are:
Viscosity = 5000-100000 cP
Density: 0.9-0.95 g/cm3
