I'm an elements collector, and I'm looking for something to store samples (3) of Cl, Br, I. Cl and Br are granular and I will be a liquid. I'm very strapped for chases at the moment

I don't know what you mean with the granular: Cl
2
is normaly a gas, Br
2
a liquid and I
2
is solid. To store its the best to put it in a glass tube what will be closed by melting the glass.

I used our search feature in this forum using the key word
ampoule
and got several interesting hits
I also used the key word
collection
and that got lots of hits also, but some of the entries are not what you are looking for
--- you might want to use the advanced search feature and restrict the search to the
Citizen Chemist board
As a side note
Based on your original post
If you do not have an understanding of the elements you are collecting
you should study about them first

I once stored liquid chlorine in a thick-walled ampule, only overnight though.
Bromine and iodine are easier with an ampule as well.
Anything with plastic will get stained and probably burned through by iodine and definitely bromine.
