Hello All,
What is the difference between DDBSA ( Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonate) Vs (Linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid)
Cost?
Performance?
ease of use and blending?
I have seen both used in formulations. Any help would be useful.

As far as I can tell DDBSA is dodecyl benzene sulfonate (a carbon chain of 12 carbons) and LABSA is a more general class of linear alkyl benzene sulfonates. DDBSA is a class of LABSA, so most likely the purity of the LABSA dictates how much of it is DDBSA vs other BSA with different carbon chain lengths.
