basic HPLC training
« on: July 08, 2015, 08:30:31 AM »
Does anyone have suggestions for articles, book chapters, webinars, etc. that deal with getting people started on the basics of operating an HPLC?  This issue comes up often for me.  EDT I just saw an email from the ChromAcademy this morning, but it is (not unreasonably) a fee-based service.

Yes, I got the same email likely this morning....

Not a bad price to be honest.

Many of the instrument manufacturers such as Agilent, Waters, etc. offer free webinars, but usually you need to sign up for these when they send out an email notice. I am not sure if a depository for past webinars that can be viewed for free is available, but it might not hurt to create a login and try. I have had some success in accessing white papers on methods from logging in and searching their library.

ACS also offer some pretty good free webinars, but often many different analytical techniques in addition to HPLC, and usually not so much the fundamentals but rather more advanced/cutting-edge techniques.
