Spectrophotometer absorbance range
« on: September 22, 2015, 07:36:08 PM »
To avoid significant errors in photometric analysis, in what range should the absorbance be followed? What if he absorbance is too low or too high?

I'd like to welcome you, maadijk:, the the Chemical Forums but I'd like to ask you to read the Forum Rules{click}.  We like to help you learn to help yourself.  Can you begin to show us your attempt?

I'm guessing this is an assignment for a lab pre-read, or after lab write-up.  So maybe the answer is just written for you and you have to read it.  Anyway, think a little bit about what happens if the absorbance is too low or too high in solution.  What would that look like?
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
