reactions with Homolysis and Heterolysis of Unsaturated Compounds

Sir, I am the student of B.Sc 1st Sem With Chemistry Major at government college baijnath.
Sir, i want to know that what are required or essential conditions for the homolysis and heterolysis of unsaturated compounds. OR in other words sir at what conditions the process is done with homolysis and at what with heterolysis.
