I just did the "Salted Paper Process" experiment in my chemistry lab and now I have to write out the chemical reactions for the lab report. If you are unfamiliar with the experiment this is it:

The compositions of the solutions are as follows:
Gelatin Salting Solution: Water (280 mL), Gelatin (2.0g), Sodium Citrate (6.0g), NH
4Cl (6.0g)
Sensitizing Solution: Water (30 mL), AgNO
3 (4.0g)
Fixing Solution: Water (500mL), Na
2S
2O
3 * 5H
2O (55g)
I need to write a chemical equation for...
1) When the gelatin reacts with the sensitizing solution (chloride crystals precipitate)
2) When the print is exposed to light (silver chloride reduced)
3) When the print is washed with tap water (tap water contains a chloride ion)
4) When the print is fixed in the fixing solution (desensitizes paper)
I really don t know where to start this, any help would be much appreciated!
