ternary phase diagrams
« on: December 04, 2015, 10:22:04 AM »
in solvent extraction a ternary phase diagram is often used to find the stages, but this only shows the tie lines. Can someone explain the function of the operating lines in solvent extraction?
This is for a second year chemical engineering undergraduate
Thanks in advance
