Radical clocks
« on: December 09, 2015, 11:08:51 AM »
I'm struggling with the concept of radical clocks. I learned today in class that they can be used to test what you synthesized was indeed a radical by reacting it with one of these clocks and seeing if you get a rearranged product (if I understand that correctly). But how do you derive a rate from that using these radical clock reactions? Thanks for any help.
