Solid state

Fullerence, C60, forms compounds in which inert gas atoms enter interstitial sites in the FCC array of C60 molecules. Given a=14.14nm. Calculate:

a) The VDW radii radius of the C60
b) the radii of octahedral and tetrahedral sites (assume the C60 molecules are spherical and 'touching' in the close packed direction)
c) Comment on the probable formula and structure of inert gas fullerdies and on the relative ease of formation of suchcompounds for Ar, Kr, and Xe.

[inert gas atoms have VDW radii Ar(1.91Å), Kr (1.98 Å), and Xe( 2.05 Å)

Help me.. i'm preparing for my final exam and i can't solve this question.. Can anyone help me??
