Hello everyone,

Let's say you're presented with a molecule of desomorphine (the street drug krokodile), as shown below. Knowing that it's IUPAC name is 4,5α-epoxy-17-methylmorphinan-3-ol, where would you start to distinguish each functional group? I know to start counting from the longest carbon chain, but that's weird because desomorphine is a pretty odd looking molecule (relative to my high school experience, I know there's heavier stuff out there).
