Vapor pressure of Liquid Argon
« on: January 12, 2016, 05:01:07 PM »
Hey everyone out there. I have been looking for data on the vapor pressure of liquid Argon. I found some good charts online but the graphs don't go where I need to go in terms of temperature and pressure. I'm trying to figure out at what pressure will liquid Argon stay liquid at 0 degrees C. The graph i found only goes to -113C and shows a pressure of about 70 Bar. Anyone know the equation to figure the pressure needed at 0 C to keep it liquid.
Thanks

The critical temperature of argon is -122°C. Above this temperature it cannot be liquefied.
