So I tried to post this question before however as I was new to the forum users were able to point out a few mistakes which made the topic invalid, namely a mistake on the drawing of my molecule and I didn't show my attempt.
Using models to construct molecules and name them in chemistry (AS), I made the molecule I've shown the structural formula of below. However I have no clue how to name it and would just really like to know as I'm interested.
My best attempt would be:
2-bromo-3-methyl[phenyl hydrogensulfate]cyclopent-oxy--1-ene
However I'm well aware I'm probably embarrassingly wrong as I have no idea about the rules governing the naming of molecules this complex. I am though interested in finding out so if anyone can name it and explain the rules to do with it it'd be much appreciated
