Hi,
what happens if toluene reacts with dichromate and sulfuric acid? Reacts to benzoic acid? I am not sure if dichromate is strong enough as oxidizer.

Methyl benzene and alkyl benzenes in general can be oxidized in presence of permanganate or dichromate. They are strong oxidizers and the carbon of the methyl group is very likely to be oxidized.
You can find a lot of literature about that. Even videos.
