i am new to this forum, i am having a blast reading up on peoples cool questions such as dissolving boxes and such.

the reason i am here is because i need to remove natural oils and waxes from organic pima cotton.
i dont want the waxes or oils i only want the bare cotton.
also if some sort of solvent is used i would need the solvent/solution to be completely removed afterwords.
i also want to keep the organic color of the cotton so no Bleaching.

The process you're looking for is called scouring.  A common term for this sort of cleaning process that is applied to natural fibers as soon as they're harvested.  For cotton, it appears the main reagent is strong alkali.
