Dosing ppm amounts of an inhibitor into a reactor

What are good ways to dose ppm quantities of an (solid) inhibitor into a fed-batch (semi-batch) reactor & get reasonably good mixing?

The target dose is approx. 700 ppm & it is supposed to be dissolved into the organic reactant. Standard batch quantity of organic reactant is approx. 1500 Litres & is dosed via a dosing pump (plunger type) from a vertical dosing tank where a measured quantity is pre-metered by a level gauge.

Max solubility of inhibitor is approx. 3% (w/w) in the organic.  Would just creating a pre-saturated solution in organic & adding it to the dosing tank & waiting give a reasonably well mixed dose? A separate dosing system co-feeding into main organic dosing line? (more complex & expensive)

Any practical suggestions?
