Solving Electron Configuration of Complex Ions

Hi,

Okay so I've always had a fear of this topic since the start of the year, and never gotten a grasp on it, and now exams are coming closer I have to understand how to solve these types of questions.

Here's my Textbook:

Looking at the exercise can someone link me a source that teaches how to solve these types of problems? I'm really desperate now for help.

Yes I read the textbook and didn't understand a s#*$.

The image source you published no longer exists at that location.
It is better to upload an image using the options in the edit window of this forum.
Just click on the plus sign next to the words
