Hi everyone,

I am gonna apply to a scholarship which is for developing countries.and in requirements it is indicated that students should agree to come back their countries after finishing education.The thing that I want know,if i don't come back what can happen? will I have a formal obligation like to come back? Thanks in advance.

I think you will have a kind of contract with the country government, school and you.  If you don't come back then you brake this contract and I think you get punishment, probably pay back the studying costs, depending which country you talking about get also maybe imprisonment.

And what about time? is there any exact duration that i should stay in my country like 2 or 3 years before going abroad again ?

I think this has to be in the contract, can be different.
