Hi everybody
the aim is synthesis of titanium dioxide by the
SOL-GEL process
First of I make
hydrolysis of solution of tetraisopropoxide titanium dissolved in an alcohol by dropping water. we obtain a SOL , this sol will be aged to obtain a GEL ,after drying and calcination.
from the literature found that the shape and the properties catalyst are controlled by the molar ratio of
precursor solution: water quantity: amount of solvent .
how I can find optimal proportions between
precursor solution: water quantity: amount of solvent for the synthesis of TiO2
how much I need time to obtain the gel
can i use a catalyst in the synthesis of TiO2 by adding an acid such as HCL
thank you in advance
