Hello there. I wasn't sure which Forum should I post so I tried posing here.

The question is, I am having trouble finding classical text that quoted chemistry in it.

My Chemistry professor said that "It can be novel, poetry, short story... anything that is literature and it has to be

published before 1900. It also has to be based on true chemical properties and cannot be a made up reaction."

I have found " Study in Scarlet" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle so far. Do you guys think that is OK?

If not, what article will you suggest?

I really need some help because it is due next Wednesday. Thank you so much for reading this.

I am stuck in between Bio 7 and Chem 101 final. Never ever take this two class in College together!!

He(my prof) didn't explain much though. He just say that the quoted reaction/substance has to be real.
