You should know a structure of citric acid. As far as I know it is missing in

Citric acid is a tricarboxylic one and can react with 1, 2 or 3 molecules of NaOH.
The best wat to write its formula is
H3C6H5O7

Cirtic acid: H
2
C(COOH)C(OH)(COOH)CH
2
(COOH)
Now, think about the reaction between HCOOH and NaOH....
What could happen if you have more COOH groups?

H3C6H5O7 + NaOH = NaH2C6H5O7 + H2O
NaH2C6H5O7 + NaOH = Na2HC6H5O7 + H2O
Na2HC6H5O7 + NaOH = Na3C6H5O7 + H2O
or
H3C6H5O7 + NaOH = NaH2C6H5O7 + H2O
H3C6H5O7 + 2NaOH = Na2HC6H5O7 + 2H2O
H3C6H5O7 + 3NaOH = Na3C6H5O7 + 3H2O
