Could you please tell if there is any way to filter magnesium citrate from a water solution.
I am an engineer myself who is tinkering which chemistry on this side.

As stated, its just not possible. Filtering, that is using a fine sieve, won't work for dissolved ions. There are other methods, ion exchange resins, selective precipitation, distillation, or just buying some fresh water.
