Whats up with all these chemistry blogs?
« on: May 29, 2006, 02:10:01 AM »
Why does it seem that chemistry related blogging has exploded in the last year. You all know me, if anything is new and novel on the internet about Chemistry, I'm usually the first to know, but this has completely skipped my attention. Since CF is known for looking at how others do stuff and taking that idea and doing it better, I'll start a Chemical Forums blog too. :P

At any rate: What chemical related blogs are out there that you visit? How do you think they would feel about linking to us? Can CF handle blogging and keeping our core mission of education of the chemical youth intact. I of course think so, but your comments are more then welcome.

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

Mitch:

So this is a blog? LOL..

I have been experimenting themes, and I learned the admin controls allow you to set a default theme specific to each forum section. In another words, this blog sub-section can be personalised. Hmm. It's just a suggestion to make it look different from the forum sections.

Why not? Are Stanford students to good for the forum? In this case I'll have to delete my account once I am there  ;D
