acetylide ion with C2H4Br2
« on: March 06, 2017, 05:35:45 PM »
Hi all,
I've been wondering (following a test of-course)what will happen in the reaction of acetylide with ethyl-dibromide.
I'm attaching the way I thought it would work, but my professor said it won't be selective.. can anyone please explain why?
Thanks ahead!
