Lab clamp sleeve

Hey
Not sure if this is the right forum, but the cork pads fell off my 2-prong lab clamp. What I'm considering is just buying some silicone kapton tape and wrapping it around the prongs, to give padding and heat protection. Any thoughts?

That or just glue the cork back on. PVA glue? You can get high temp glues also or maybe an epoxy?... or just tape them on like you suggested.
