« on: January 21, 2018, 11:39:28 PM »
I have 500grams of Poly Aluminium Chloride and I was wondering if anyone knew of a method of converting it to just AlCl3 Anhydrous Aluminium Chloride?

Anhydrous aluminium chloride is not possible. You can boil it with HCl and get AlCl3 x 6 H2O.

Anhydous AlCl3 is only possible to burn aluminium in an chlorine athmosphare or mix Aluminiumoxid and Carbon and treat with chlorine.
