Punctation in personal messages
« on: June 27, 2006, 03:23:35 PM »
In each of our profiles we're allowed to put a personal message; mine says,

'cuz even ghetto kids need to know the lanthanides.

But I noticed today that it uses the coded equivalent of an apostrophe,
Code: [Select]
' , in place of
Code: [Select]
'.

Can't think of why it would do this.

For an example check out my post here: http://www.chemicalforums.com/index.php?topic=9480.0

Is this an error in the server?

That happened to my personal message too, a while back.

Just edit it to remove the punctuation, then edit it again and put the punctuation back in. That fixed it for me.
